ID Number: 0009
Operating System: Windows 98
Browser: IE6.0.2
Feature: Photos

PROBLEM: Photos do not display. An X shows instead of the photos.

SOLUTION: There are at least three workarounds, and one possible fix. First, the possible fix:

1. Download and install the latest security update to the IE6 Service Pack 1. It can be found at the microsoft.com/downloads page. As of this writing, the current version is IE6's Service Pack 1 Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (KB832894).

If this doesn't solve the problem, try one of the following:

2. If your computer is on a network, try accessing your CD-ROM through Network Neighborhood instead of My Computer or the Windows Explorer.

To run the program from My Computer, go to menu bar in Internet Explorer and open Tools/Internet Options/Security. Click on Restricted Sites then open the Custom Level window. Scroll down to Launching programs and files in an IFRAME and check Enable. If you are using the restricted sites feature of IE6 and feel uncomfortable changing the default settings, try workaround number 3.

3. Copy all files and folders from the CD into a new folder on your hard drive, then run the program from the new folder.
