The Challenge

The last module of Marty Clarke's Presentation Skills course was slated to be a review of all the other modules, as a preparation for the final exam. It could have been just another dry rehash...

The Result

Because Marty's presentation style was so entertaining, we decided to use a learning game as the course review, so I designed this simple game in PowerPoint. The images on the game board reinforce concepts covered in earlier modules, and they fill in as the learner progresses. Learners get immediate feedback on their answers throughout, that further reinforce their learning. We did not have the luxury of a Flash programmer, so students needed to track their own scores, however, we added a few surprises and gave them amusing feedback on their score at game completion.
